We are now entering the fourth week of the Atmos Totnes Hub being open for visitors. Have you been yet? We'd love to share with you what is being created in the former Dairy Crest site offices.

Dear Supporter of Atmos Totnes,

The Atmos Totnes Hub is the first stage of the invitation to the community of Totnes to focus its collective aspirations on designing the future of the former Dairy Crest site. Over 400 people have already passed through, exploring the past, present and future of the site.

You can hear Ruth Ben-Tovim of Encounters Arts, who is leading this consultation, giving an audio tour of the Atmos Totnes Hub, There are many more images of it on a Tumblr page. Something quite amazing is taking shape there, and it would greatly benefit from your input. The Atmos Totnes Hub is open until 6th December 2014, on Fridays 10am – 7pm and Saturdays 11am – 4pm.

Don't wait until December though. It's an ongoing process. Returning regularly means you'll be able to see how your input is shaping the evolving brief and concept designs for the site. So, consider yourself warmly invited. In the meantime, we'd like to suggest 4 Things You Could Do This Week To Support Atmos Totnes:

1. Please forward this email to 10 people you know, and invite them to pop down too.
2. Please print out this poster and display it somewhere eye-catching.
3. Please put something about it on your Facebook page (if you do such things). If you could Like us too, that would be great. Just look for AtmosTotnes.
4. Come and visit. Bring a friend. Or ten.

Here are some comments from people who've already visited:

"Just brilliant.  Makes me proud to live here and excited about our future."

"Feels like a HUGE invitation for something fabulous."

"Nice to come back to the factory where I worked for 7 years."

"We're full of admiration for such a meaningful community consultation.  So glad to have seen what you're doing."

Mike, who has lived in Totnes since 1946 and worked at the then-Unigate site, told us recently at the Atmos Totnes Hub: "I think the Atmos project has to be one of the finest things I've seen promoted for a long, long time, and will be a wonderful use of the space that's down here. This has been excellently presented, with people who know how to present it, both on a one-to-one basis and also on the displays.  Easily understandable by anyone."

We look forward to seeing you soon.

P.s., You know where the Atmos Totnes Hub is right? - Station Road, Station Yard, Totnes, TQ9 5JP (The road next to Totnes railway station, London side.)
