Know the basics of using your sewing machine ( i.e. Threading, winding a bobbin, and sewing an accurate 1/4" seam) and have sewn some easy projects!

Confident Beginner
Have made a quilt or two, and some other projects.  Comfortable with using your sewing machine and have made several beginner projects and are ready for the next step.

Intermediate
Have taken some quilting and/or sewing classes, have made several different kinds of projects, have full command of your machine and feel confident in your abilities. Ready to take on new patterns and learn new methods.

Advanced
Experienced quilter/sewer and have made it all.
