Join us on Monday for TICTeC Labs Surgery #6: civic tech in hostile environments

Book now for our final Civic Tech Surgery in the TICTeC Labs series - on Monday 17th October we'll be discussing the challenges that the civic tech community faces working in hostile environments, from everyday government resistance to operating in conflict and post-conflict societies.

What are the challenges in different contexts and how can we support the civic tech community to carry on, collaborate and contribute productively in hostile environments? What can we learn from the use of ‘peacetech’ in conflict and post-conflict societies to tackle common challenges? What is – and isn’t – helpful in supporting civic tech and citizens in hostile environments? Our panel of discussants includes representatives from Forset (Georgia), HURIDOCS and Build Up.

Can't make it on Monday but want to contribute? Add your thoughts via this Padlet board to be part of the discussion.
